Videocon has unveiled a new smartphone in India, called the Videocon Q1 V500K. The phone is listed on company’s site, but yet the price details of the device have not been disclosed. The Videocon Q1 V500K smartphone comes with Xiaomi’s dual-space like feature, allowing users to run dual WhatsApp accounts, to utilize both their personal and work accounts on the same phone.
Dual WhatsApp feature goes beyond the dual WhatsApp accounts, and allows dual-space optimization that allows users to create separate spaces for different accounts with different passwords which then creates dual space virtually for two accounts. The Coolpad Max also has this feature, which is called BiLogin for system-level virtualization solution and dual-space.
The dual-micro-SIM Videocon Q1 V500K is powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core CPU coupled with 2GB of RAM running Android 5.0.2 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The smartphone also sports a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display with One Glass Solution touchscreen technology.
The Videocon Q1 V500K is equipped with a 13 MP rear camera with an Iscocell sensor, a dual-LED flash module, and PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus). For selfie-lovers, the smartphone has an 8 MP front camera with a flash module. You can also record HD videos through the cameras, with a number of additional features like Single Touch Camera option for easy photo-capturing.
The smartphone comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). Apart from 4G and 3G network technologies, you get GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), FM radio, GPS, A-GPS, USB 2.0 for connectivity options. The Q1 V500K supports USB On-The-Go as well.
It also comes preloaded with apps such as V-Safe, V-Secure, Eros Now, Gameloft Games, Chillx, Daily Hunt and others. The smartphone will come bundled with a scratch protection film, a flip cover and Eros Now coupon that offers you a 6-month subscription on its dedicated app.
